All four wheels were caked with mud and had lots of thread stuck inside. One wheel will not screw in.The only thing I didn't like about this chair was the fabric; which (being crafty) was very easily able to re-cover before I even assembled it. It's perfect for the writing desk/sewing table in my bedroom and matches the decor with the new fabric cover.Very comfortable. Love the Riley Blake fabric. Love the hidden compartment under the seat for my how to books.Love this chair! It's super comfortable and like that the back rest supports the lumbar region. I'm only 5'2" and the chair is the perfect height for me.When this chair arrived I was surprised to see how ADORABLE it is- even better than the pictures. Not only does it have a vintage look, it also has vintage quality- actual hardwood, not laminate, very sturdy. It is also amazingly comfortable. I have been sewing using a big padded office chair for fifteen years. Always had neck and back issues. This chair is surprisingly supportive and way more comfortable to use for sewing than my big office chair. Yes- it's a bit pricey but I'm pretty sure this chair will still be around 100 years from now, like any other fine piece of furniture. Took about ten minutes to put it together- very simple. I LOVE the bonus storage, for some reason I didn't even realize that it has a nice compartment under the seat for notions, scissors, and random ephemera that tends to mess up my sewing table. Also, I have my modern machine on an antique sewing table, and the chair (I got the natural wood color) looks really cute next to it.I prefer this chair over typical office chairs with wheels. I'm always hitting my heels on the wheels of office chairs as I sit down. Not for this chair.Oh...this is the best ever sewing chair...sturdy, comfortable and I am enjoying it!This chair is used by my wife everyday as she is an avid sewer. It is comfortable and moves easily. The height is perfect. She has used the chair for 7 months and has recommended it to her quilting friends.Excellent Choice, my wife loves it.
