I purchased these in Turquoise and Yellow to make decorations for my son's first birthday party. The yellow is thick enough that it doesn't show the underlying turquoise! That was a huge bonus, because I couldn't find a yellow at the craft store with the same quality.I also used these to make an applique for my son's birthday shirt. I made a 2x2.5" "1" (number one) for the front of the shirt in turquoise, and then layered a slightly smaller yellow version over the top. I stitched them together with embroidery floss and then stitched the applique on with thread (no pellon, adhesive, or other kind of backing at all). It has still held up even through many wash cycles, though the dryer did it no favors once I tossed it in there without thinking. It buckled, as can be expected, but with some stretching, it is still presentable. When I need a mass stack of felt again, I know exactly where to look! The only downside seems to be the shipping cost. Firstly, the going cost of individual sheets at my local store is about $.85. Even with the shipping cost, these are around $.30 cheaper a piece. The Felt Store also combines shipping costs, so if you order more, the shipping cost won't double, then triple, etc. It'll go up about $1 per stack, so the more you need, the greater the value! Hope this helps!
